This is my first time coming here and will be my last. They don’t trust your issues you’re having and everyone looked like they were having a bad day. I wouldn’t recommend it.
The clinical staff have always been caring and very helpful at each walk-in visit. However, at the front desk there is a lack of etiquette when addressing patients walking in and up to the desk. Even if busy with a task, you should say, "I will be right with you, or one moment please." I have been a medical receptionist before. However the african american woman at the middle station blatantly ignores patients. I want to give recognition to Kodee ARNP for going above and beyond in providing care. She went the extra yard in making sure we got our medications by giving us a follow up call once we were home. She is a very caring and kind provider.
While I initially was pleased with the care I received during my urgent care visit to MercyOne Genesis, I am giving it a 1-star review because of their billing. I had been traveling for several days (from Arizona) and came to Iowa to spend a few days with my best friend. I arrived not feeling well, with two problems that couldn’t wait until I was back home.
