At the end of February 2024 my L4-L5 disc herniated with a great amount of pain. An MRI confirmed the problem. My wife, a retired O.R. nurse, took me to a neurosurgeon that she knew and liked. The conversation immediately turned to: "This is what we are going to do:" while showing me the metal on a demonstrstration spine model.
