Dr. Wisser is great!
Tried to make an appointment here and they called me to get more info, hung up and about 5 minutes later I got a text that said they couldn’t make me an appointment (I did not sign up to their text program yet or agree to even receive texts from them). I tried calling back to find out what was going on and it appears they actually blocked me. Two weeks ago, my dog suffered a tragic, freak accident, and we were met with genuine compassion during that initial visit. She required surgery and was referred to Cornell University Veterinary Hospital, where she received excellent care. Our follow-up yesterday at Geneseo Veterinary Care for her surgery and mildly elevated calcium levels was a completely different experience. Geneseo Vet Care saw my sister’s dog Nala, in an emergency situation, and were fantastic. After surgery at Cornell, we chose to bring Nala back to GVC for her follow up, and my sister asked me to come as I have a veterinary background, and she wanted my opinion. Nala had a SLIGHTLY elevated calcium level in her bloodwork at Cornell- which Cornell staff wasn’t concerned about and just wanted us to double check.
