Gene's Transmissions - Have used since 1996 I, personally, would recommend Gene's Transmissions to anyone having car issues! I have taken all my vehicles to them since 1996, when I first moved to VA. I have never had issues with any of their work. The owner or manager, Charles, has always been able to repair any problems I have had with my vehicles, not just transmission issues!! Damaged my car horrible service!! I took my car in for minor routine maintenance. I was getting my oil filter & fluid changed, transmission fluid & filter changed, the rear end fluid changed, and spark plugs and wires changed. There was nothing mechanically wrong with my car prior to taking it to this business. When I got my car back when driving it, it slammed hard into gear when shifting the transmission.
