Brung my grandfathers boat that was gifted to me here for a diagnostic inspection , waited 3 weeks for a response .. finally received my boat back after several phone calls with a burnt choke solenoid ($80), hole in my boat tarp ($120) and still a motor that won’t start with no answer as to exactly what the issue is . I personally rebuilt the carburetor ,replaced the starter solenoid , put a new starting motor in, brand new battery , brand new fuel pump and fuel lines. Just bought my first boat and had trouble with my trim on the motor, after replacing a relay and it not working I gave Genes marine service a call. I explained to him what was going on and he talked me through some of the process to then inviting me to come bring the boat by for him to look at to help me out even though he had tons to work on.
