Upon finding out about the presence of a rare inheritable gene mutation in one side of my extended family Simon from Genes Australia was of great assistance in navigating what this meant for us and the best course of action. Simon explained what the syndrome was, how it was inherited and guided us through the process of getting tested. We were very fortunate to be negative for the mutation, Simon's guidance made getting to the point of having a test outcome feel like much less of a maze.

I had a great experience with Simon and the Genes Australia team, even though we were in different states. The online sessions were convenient and efficient, making the process much easier. Simon was extremely professional, knowledgeable and, most importantly, very kind and compassionate throughout the whole process. From start to finish, the admin communication and information from Caroline was excellent. Simon Troth, the geneticist was warm, friendly, professional, and explained everything clearly during both telehealth consultations, including delivering the great news of my test results today, with a smile!!

I have very recently had a counselling appointment with Simon at Genes Australia. I was extremely impressed with the manner in which the whole process of organising the appointment (through Caroline in Admin) through to having an initial Telehealth consultation with Simon and final discussion of results from tests undertaken. I was referred for genetic counselling and was so pleased to have found Genes Australia as an option. Simon is lovely and provided excellent information to help me understand the process and potential outcomes, and Caroline is a superstar making sure I had all the forms and appointments timely.
