They have always done a great job for me
We had 2 alternators fixed for 2 different work trucks. Very happy. As a data point, we bought a brand new alternator online and it was bad from day 1, so we got to change it twice..... I think its a better value to have the OEM one fixed and Genes is great! Also getting the OEM fixed, you at least know the quality.
I see some 1 star reviews, but my experience was excellent. I had an alternator I was suspect of that was a new order from rock auto. They tested it for me at no charge. Luckily I still had the old one on hand, and instead of having me wait over the weekend they told me to drop it off and come back and they would have it ready in about 45 minutes. So 45 minutes later I came back and had a working alternator! All this done last minute with no appointment. They really took their time to try and help me and I appreciate that! D... read more
Great folks! super friendly and knowledgable. Got my alternator back today and it looks brand new. It costs less than a third of what a new part would cost.
