BEST sandwich shop in South Florida! As a girl born and raised in Staten Island, I can honestly say this is the first place down here that comes to close to home, and honestly it's better than NY!! The quality of the meats, cheeses, bread, and ingredients is unmatched. Comparing Generoso’s to Publix or LaSpada’s is crazy LOL this is a completely different level of sandwich. Came here for the affogato and it was nothing like the ones we had in Italy. The ice cream was not gelato and the espresso was not hot. They also gave it to us on “to go” paper cups , even though we were sitting at a table and dining in. They were also way overpriced! Paid $26 for three affogatos! See pics for size. Each sandwich was about $18. Then sandwiches were not better than a Publix sub and twice the price. Dissapointed.
Poor excuse for a new local spot. Service takes forever, food is uninspiring and poorly prepared. Gave them multiple chances only to fail repeatedly. Complete dice roll as to if anything will be ready after waiting 45+ minutes. July 2026 - Decided to give them another try while heading to a conference. I am glad that I did. Cute and quaint. Sandwich delicious. The only thing that was a bit cringy was seeing the towel use to wipe sandwich counter near sandwich prep then touching sandwiches.
I would give them 5000 stars if possible. Still cannot believe we have such an amazing sandwich shop in Parkland. Everything I order is delicious.
