I have both venous AND arterial issues and it took took several years, suffering with ulcers that took a year to heal with no pain management because the surgeon I had before said he didn't care And others I went to yelled at me for crying when they unwrapped my ulcerand left it exposed and then argued that I needed HIS compression socks, not the ones I was already wearing, because HIS WERE BETTER!!! I found the appointments helpful and reassuring about the health of my veins and what to do to take care of them. I now use supphose that I bought at the office and online.
