I had an EMERGENCY surgery in 2011 a very awful surgery. This dr is THE MOST RUDEST DOCTOR EVER, NOT TO MENTION HE LIES ON HIS REPORTS. MY RECORDS SAYS HE REMOVED ALL INSTRUMENTS AND THEY WERE ACCONTED FOR. LIES!!! 2016 I HAD EMERGENCY SURGERY again and guess what he found??? A DRAIN LEFT BEHIND!!!! IM FILING A REPORT TO THE MEDICAL BOARD. I ALSO WORKED AT NORTHERN NEVADA and I heard hes lost his privileges to practice there. Do your research.
I had GI surgery last month and was extremely pleased with Dr. Stumpf and his staff. It was echoed by all the nurses that Dr. Stumpf cares about his patients more than most Doctors. He was very attentive. A well deserved 5 Star rating
I was referred to Dr. Stumpf for hernia repair. Dr. Stumpf was very friendly, polite and through in his exam. He explained in detail what the surgery would entail. The day of surgery Dr. Stumpf met with me and my wife to go over the procedure and asked if we had any questions. After the surgery he meet with my wife and I to discuss the surgery and follow up care. His staff later followed up with me to check on my pain level and if I had any questions. I would highly recommend Dr. Stumpf and is staff.
Dr. Stumpf avoided my having an unnecessary surgery based on his professionalism and due dilligence.
I have never felt so discouraged by a surgeon. Thursday May 31st 2018 this doctor did general surgery on me on my abdomen. When I came out of surgery the recovery nurse asked him what post-op pain medication he wanted to give me, his answer was none. The anesthesiologist had to threaten him that she was going to report him to the medical board if he didn't give me something for pain.
