on September 3rd, 2013 I had to be rushed to the Providence Medical Center ER, and was unresponsive because my body had went into septic shock, which later found out I had 2 perforations in my lower intestine. September 7th, 2013 i had a colon resection and had 2 feet of my lower intestine removed. Dr Lowry and his team was who completed that surgery after an almost 2 hour clean out of my insides, and also the take down surgery to remove my ostomy bag from my stomach from that whole mess.... Highly recommended. Dr. Lowry has an incredible reputation as a surgeon and did not disappoint. I would recommend him to anyone. He came to see me every day I was in the hospital (for 18 days) and was so impactful to my recovery. Answered any questions we had and took his time in doing so. He treated me feel like family. His patience and bedside manner was top notch.
Dr. Lowry is amazing!! Literally saves my life. Helped me accept what had happened and gave me hope of a reversal. Explained everything to me and allowed me to cry it out. He just sat and held the Kleenex and spoke gently. He’s so caring. The medical field needs him as a teacher of bedside and office manners. He’s great!!
