They charged me 368.00 to inspect my camper for leaks including the plumbing. They assured me they ran water all day and everything was fine. The min i took the camper out andcran the kitchen sink, water poured out of the trap assembly leaking. Dont buy anything here or go here for service.
I want to take a minute to thank General RV for their help in dealing with Grand Design regarding some issues that surfaced with my brand new 369RL. General RV was great regarding the help that they provided. Unfortunately Grand design was not as helpful as General. While the unit itself is very nice, Grand Design as a company is no better than their peers when it comes to standing behind the quality of their unit. From General Rv, a bigger one each time. Before purchasing the first one we visted about every dealer around, wouldn't go anywhere but General Rv, the sales rep spent a lot of time showing us various 5th wheels so we would be happy with what we purchased, service couldnt be better.
I love my camper that I purchased but General RV has a HORRIBLE service department. Very unprofessional and they do not call you back. I dropped our new camper off in June for a safety recall. 7 WEEKS LATER, I was still being told that they were "waiting on a part". When they finally returned our camper back to us (which I felt was being held hostage) we were informed that they actually never needed to replace any parts....they only had to "check" the LP line for defects!!!!!!!!! We rented a RV from here for a small weekend trip. The RV was in great shape and mostly everything went smooth until we returned it. About a week after returning it a phone call was received from someone at the center claiming they are keeping our entire $1,000 deposit.
