Just Google their name and look for the reports of "smudged" paperwork. Short version is that you agree to say 100 payments but the multi layer paper you sign shows more like 150 or in one case... 119 payments became 240...
I went in to your Huntley, IL location in 2016 and Paid in full for a brand new Camper. You delivered it to my camp sit and I have not been able to get any service or warranty work scene then. I have called this location many times and get the run around. I was told because I paid in full that day that, they must have lost my paperwork. I don't want to bore you with a long drawn out letter, so I'll make it short. General trailer of mt clemens has the worst service department I have been to in 30 or so years of owning rv's . They had my RV for over 3 weeks to repair several things I needed done. Well $5.000 later and only about %20 of the repairs were done right. They charged me 368.00 to inspect my camper for leaks including the plumbing. They assured me they ran water all day and everything was fine. The min i took the camper out andcran the kitchen sink, water poured out of the trap assembly leaking. Dont buy anything here or go here for service.

Worst service department on the planet. Sales staff are nice and you might get a good deal from their large selection. However; if you have your rv serviced here for any kind of major warranty work, you will be straight out lied to. They held my rv 3 weeks to tell me what I told them when I brought it in. I want to take a minute to thank General RV for their help in dealing with Grand Design regarding some issues that surfaced with my brand new 369RL. General RV was great regarding the help that they provided. Unfortunately Grand design was not as helpful as General. While the unit itself is very nice, Grand Design as a company is no better than their peers when it comes to standing behind the quality of their unit.
