Maaco matches the need. I drive my cars for a long time. When I need a paint job Maaco in SLC has a paint job to match the car. My nicer cars get a nicer paint job. My older cars get a paint job that is appropriate for the age of the car. The guys at Maaco never insult me for not wanting their top of the line paint job for a car that is already past its prime. We took in our Subaru to have some rust damage repaired. Our rust damage was extensive, and we needed a new hatch. They called around to see if we could get one from a junk yard. (which they were able to find, and it ended up saving us $450 off of their original quote).
I took my Toyota Highlander for some repair on my front bumper. They quoted me a price, stuck to it, and had it ready in the time they promised. The quote was $1,000.00 lower than the Toyota Dealer. Thanks Maaco.
Doesn't finish the work properly. Quotes you low, but then high balls you. Will not take responsibility of the work that was done at his shop, and refuses to fix and pay for the things that happened due to the lazy work done.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO RANDY!! He just moved to 4195 S and 500 W. He quoted me cheaper than my regular mechanic so I took my car to him to have the timing done. He ended up charging me more and broke a few things in the process. AND TO TOP IT OFF...he didn't tighten the bolt all the way on my timing belt pulley so my timing went out and bent all my valves. Just had to pay $1580 to get it all fixed, and he refuses to take any responsibility. We'll see what the judge has to say
