Called for service to our 6 year old washing machine. John was very professional. Was told that repairs could be made but would cost more than the original purchase price. We appreciate his honesty. Even suggested what type of washer we should consider purchasing. Took the time to show us our options. Will recommend them to friends and family! Thanks John!
Service was awesome
I called General regarding service for our 23 yr old Viking range. (This was the 1st time this range/oven needed repairs. I called Viking customer service. I learned that General is one of only 2 appliance repair companies in CT that service Viking appliances.) I left a voice message at General. I received a return call about 1 hour later. When called for service and gave New Haven zip code (map shows they service New Haven and zip code is main one for New Haven) they said “they do not service that part of New Haven.” I can read between those lines and am very happy we found a better repair business for ourselves and neighbors.
