Gene's Roofing had to change their name because he didn't file annual business report. State of NC dissolved his company. Said he was licensed general contractor. The license had expired. Took him to small claims court. That was a joke. Save yourself the grief. Use Providence Roofing. They did an excellent job. Roof repair guaranteed 10 yrs. Materials 20 yrs. I gave Gene's Roofing deposit to replace roof. He cashed $4000 deposit on 4/30/2025. As of today 7/25/2025 he has done nothing. Won't show me invoice or receipts. I put... read more
I gave Gene's Roofing deposit to replace roof. He cashed $4000 deposit on 4/30/2025. As of today 7/25/2025 he has done nothing. Won't show me invoice or receipts. I put a post on Facebook in "Let's Talk Burke County". His response was to threaten to take me to court to even see the invoice. Als o stated in same FB group that he didn't want to do my roof. Still won't give me back my deposit. Don't use this company. He also has a general contracting business.
