I installed a A.O. Smith new water heater and my power bill went up $100 a month. Contacted the manufacturer and they told me that Gene Love Plumbing was their who they use to check out their water heaters. After contacting Gene Love Contracting , I was told that there would be no charge to inspect my heater. I was still under labor and parts warranty.
