I’ve been to Gen several times before, and I never really felt it was that clean, but today was the worst… The spoon had broth dripping on it. Even after replacing it, the new ones were still dirty—I had to change six spoons in total. Also, we ordered hotteok, but even though we didn’t eat japchae, there were strands of japchae on the hotteok plate. Last two attempts to eat here have failed. One time they told us the dishwasher was broken and that they were understaffed. The second time, we waited for ten minutes with no one showing up at the host counter.
Over priced ..we went for lunch on a Saturday and it was going to be over $50 a person i know it is all you can eat but spending over 100 for lunch witn no drinks is outrageous. We walked out before ordering.
