Food was good as expected from this kind of place. Not as crowded but always had someone waiting to be seated. The way it works is that you order something then when it’s served and you start cooking you can order again. We weren’t a big group. A group of 4 to be exact. We would order less than the maximum per order. Our 3rd order never arrived until our appetite for more had gone away. So hard to get servers’ attention to refill drinks too. I hadn't been to Gen in a while. We decided to stop by since we had a gift card. On arrival we were offered bar seats since it was just 2 of us. We decided to try the bar and what a mistake that was. I was seated at the end next to what was a station for cups and staff picking up drink orders. We were 10 minutes in when a waitress drops a cup of water.
