We ordered takeout from Gen Hoe. Here are our recommendations. Get the hot and sour soup. It is chock-full of vegetables and has a delicious flavor. The moo shu shrimp was plentiful, with tons of shrimp and so delicious. The owner was very pleasant.
Gen Hoe is a quality family-run Chinese takeout restaurant. While you can dine in, there's really no reason to unless you're stopping in from far away. That aside, the food is generally good, minus a few menu items, and the portions compared to price make it well worth it.
Overall great place. Workers are friendly and work very hard. Food comes out fast, hot and delicious. I've been coming here for over 15 years. Please support local.
