I took my ’03 Silverado in for a transmission rebuild, and Tony did a great job keeping me updated throughout the process. He kept me informed about the progress and made sure I knew what was going on with my vehicle. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone in need of transmission work.
Based on research ahead of time, I chose Bert’s to do the repairs on my truck. We ran into significant problems with the auto warranty program and the parts vendor, but Bert and, especially, Tony were my advocates throughout the repair effort. Tony kept me informed on all aspects and the finished product met my needs! I unequivocally and highly recommend you consider Bert’s Gene Brown Transmission service in San Antonio!!!
I had a great experience with Gene Brown Transmission Brought my 20 year old Mazda Tribute with a slip, after the technician took a look WE decided to go with the rebuild....SAVED over $2,000.00 !!! And when I got my unit back it was spotless they had washed and vacuumed my unit before returning it to me !!!
BACK ON THE ROAD AGAIN! My vehicle transmission was slipping bad and it felt like the driver was running over cones in the middle of the road. Bert’s Transmission completely rebuilt the transmission and the results speak for themselves — no more slipping, smooth shifting, and the vehicle is driving strong again! Berts Transmission is Law Enforcement/first responder and Military friendly. There’s nothing better than getting your vehicle back and it runs like new. E. Williams
