Matthew and his group of colleagues are about the friendliest group of counselors I have ever met. They see all ages, have spanish speaking counselors, and as a fellow counselor I am appreciative of their easy-to-use scheduling website. It seems like they have removed every barrier to helping folks to get care and that their priority is to make services as accessible as possible. It can be so hard to find well trained child and teen therapists, and even harder to find ones who work with parents skillfully as well. Gem State Wellness is a great option in the Boise area. Would highly recommend!

I worked with my therapist at Gem State Wellness for about 8 months and the sessions themselves were generally good and positive. However, the way my care ended was very disappointing. In May, she asked to change my session time and day and I agreed stipulating specifically that it would only work thru the end of July. As a PMHNP I am always looking for other clinicians in Idaho that carry the same values and compassion in their care setting, bonus is that they are a group practice that can truly provide specialized care to your exact need!
