What an incredible find! This relatively small stone yard had, in my opinion, the most interesting and beautiful selection of quartzite in the LA area - even better than the larger places, like Stone Mart and Modul Marble. As an added benefit, my sales lady, Silvia, was an absolute sweetheart to work with. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the market for natural stone!
GEM International is truly a GEM! I stumbled upon them as I was driving around looking for another natural stone store. I walked in at about 4:15pm on a Friday (they close at 4:30) and was greeted by Aurora. She was so friendly, helpful and one of the most quartzite knowable people I have met in my search for the perfect countertop.
