I Obtained this law firm last year while going through a battle with my ex. I brought up multiple things on multiple meetings that I wanted, including into our parenting plan that seemed like they have gotten pushed under the rug or just swept away and now a year later after finishing things now I am dealing with consequences that we’re not put into my parenting plan and now reconsidering hiring another lawyer, but I don’t think I will go back to GEM, because things I asked were not taken seriously.

I would not recommend this firm based on my experience. I paid a retainer and was never provided with an engagement letter outlining the terms of representation, fees, or any refund policy. The firm performed no work on my case, yet refused to return my retainer. What was most concerning was the lack of professionalism. My concerns were met with rude, dismissive communication instead of transparency or a good faith effort to resolve the issue.
