Updated: This place was always my go to in Hays and had been for many, many years but after my experience tonight we will NOT be returning. Our server was very inattentive and elusive, I was willing to deal with that, no biggie. Then we got our pretzels and they were over cooked, very hard, almost burnt. We had to peel the outer layer off just to make them edible. Delicious! Get the ribeye sandwich with bacon jam! Omg! Service was great-server told us about the whit buffalo which we had to see! Husband had the chicken sandwich and it was huge! Loved this little find.
Great food, great, and great service. The steak was excellent. As was the pale ale. Can’t ask for more than that.
