I visited yesterday and bought a pastry that looked similar to a doughnut. Unfortunately, it was stale and impossible to eat. When I returned it and explained that it wasn’t fresh, the employee who had sold it to me simply took it back and said, Thank you, without apologizing or offering any explanation.
