Came early 6:30. Sat here 45 minutes before I even got checked in! Waited another half hour to be seen for a blood draw. Ridiculous! I haven't waited this long to see my doctor!

12 hours fasting for cholesterol test. Important. When I arrived, there were two people sitting waiting, and one at the desk checking in. I signed the sheet and stood waiting to check in. I was told to take a seat. There was some debate as to whether the man checking in was a widow or a widower. When he was done, the next name was called. Not mine. Guy sat next to me with his kid. My experience with the lab was good (no wait time, friendly staff) but billing wise geisinger charges 1000x more than what you would pay at quest. I learned this the hard way. Get your diagnostic testing done elsewhere if you don’t want to take out a loan to pay your bill for routine bloodwork.
