I had constant abnormal renal labs, but my PCP wouldn't listen to me when I indicated there was a renal issue. I changed PCPs and my new PCP felt this was a huge issue and referred me to Geisinger Nephrology in Danville. I have lupus and in 2010 I had stage 4 lupus nephritis. I had great care by Dr. Yahya who helped me get a second opinion at Johns Hopkins who agreed with him about my care plan. I am well today and I still have both my kidneys! I do not hesitate in recommending Geisinger Nephrology specifically Dr. Yahya.
