Waisted 2 trips going to appointments that had been rescheduled and Doctor had a family emergency,that was the excuse both times,travel 2hrs one way to get there. If you live any distance away please make multiple calls day before and day of to save yourself a bunch of gas. If you going to cancel or reschedule a patience at least do them the common courtesy of calling them and letting them know before they make this mistake of traveling to this hospital for nothing.
They don't even answer the phone, you can't even make an appointment. Such a joke
I had a virtual appointment with Dr Jennifer A Myers. I was dismissed and found inaccurate statements in my chart. I experienced a severe reaction to a prescribed medication and came to this clinic for help. The staff brushed me off, and the doctor documented things I never said. Patients deserve accuracy and compassion, not dismissal when they’re scared and sick. Please read your visit notes carefully — I wish I had been treated with basic respect and honesty. Overall, this is an excellent hospital with highly-trained staff who collectively provide great expertise and quality of care! For the most part (unless you have something extremely rare), you will have a great experience here at Geisinger. However, if you feel that your care here is lacking effectiveness, I would highly suggest switching to another hospital (such as UPenn or CHOP in Philadelphia).
