Worse company and customer service around.
I just switched to Geico this week but I am not a happy customer coming in. The agency I was working with gave me a great price quote from Geico. I moved forward with the policy just a few days later (none of my information changed at all) and the final price Geico gave me was much higher than what the original quote was. Closed charging e deceptively high insurance using was tan honest cancellation policies while causing a very sick retired 80 year old crippled veteran much anguish and grief with UNACCEPTABLE UNANNOUNCED “”surprise no notice cancellation only to reinstate at a higher rate while subjecting customer to $200 . DMV penalty for insurance lapse unbeknownst to motorist poor crippled vet who was driving not once , but twice WITHOUT any insurance because Geico did not notify DMV did AFTER the Fact!!!
Cancelled because of inquiry. I have called several times and asked for assistance with an issue. I had put in a hypothetical person that doesn't exist to see what a different price may be and am unable to remove them. Geico wants me to fill out paperwork for thus non existent person now they cancelled my policy because of this hypothetical inquiry they said "I'm sorry we can't help you it is the underwriters decision."
