I barely hit someone. It was equivalent to me lightly touching someone with my finger. In the end, they lied and exaggerated the damage to their car. Turns out, they made a false claim and got paid massively. It was inspected as $200 worth of damage, which is low and a lie but whatever. However, the person claimed personal injury. That should have literally been a joke to GEICO. But what did they do? Paid the person $4000 (a GEICO rep confirmed their payout when I called). Doesn’t care how long you’ve been with them!
During the repetition of the government shutdown, GEICO cancelled my insurance knowing I had no pay and was still made to go to work. I was already u day financial stress depleting my savings to make ends meet. Now they are threatening to cancel my insurance because I have no idea , no information about my grown son who lives in Japan and is not in my household or car insurance. U all are terrible!! There are better insurance companies out here.
Geico has been a hero to me decades ago on the mainland. As well as recently here… can’t say enough positive things about them from customer service, adjuster, going above and beyond my expectations!
Truly great people working hard in there.
