GEICO IS UNSUPPORTIVE OF COLLEGE STUDENTS. USE ANYBODY BUT GEICO IF YOU ARE A COLLEGE STUDENT. I was asked to provide proof of state residency. Customer service is horrible, called talking to an agent Name Aisha! She was so rude and disrespectful.
They increased the prices in the middle of my contract. They quoted me a six month price of $212.43 and then on my second payment they charged $258.01. I called and they pretty much said that they have the right to change prices after the coverages starts. They couldn’t show proof of where I agreed or that they even advised me of the change. Garbage, garbage GARBAGE… their claims team is the WORST most unreliable group of people, doesn’t matter what state. I pay over $4,000 per year to never be able to get proper assistance. They have no idea what’s going on with my claim, they never answer the phone, service here SUCKS… I was an employee for over 2 YEARS, in home insurance, that ALSO SUCKED, they will drain you dry!! I should have listened to everyone that was employed with Geico and even the ones still employed with Geico that this place is horrible to their employees. I was employeed at geico from February 2025 to Nov 21st 2025. The training was horrible! They keep saying there's a method to their madness or give yourself grace or give yourself 6 months blah blah blah. But let me tell you what it was like.
