DO NOT INSURE WITH GEICO!!!! GEICO reported to the DMV I cancelled my auto insurance rather than my policy was rewritten due to an address change. My license was suspended. Despite presenting proof of coverage to the DMV, the DMV will only accept a fax of the exact same information from GEICO. I had to pay $1000 for a fine to have my license reinstated and new license plates. Additionally, as long as I have a suspension on my license no other insurance company will insure me. My experience with GEICO has been beyond disappointing. After a curb strike caused hidden suspension and steering damage to my dad’s 2016 Mercedes-Benz E350, we followed all procedures and brought the car to a reputable shop. Everything on the vehicle still worked after the incident—no airbags deployed, no warning lights—just a misaligned steering wheel and rough ride.
