I chose GEI based on reviews praising their reasonable, no-upcharge pricing. That was not my experience. Had a main waterline stoppage — couldn’t use any water in the house without risking flooding downstairs, so I had no choice but to get it fixed immediately. They quoted $399 to camera the line and $350 to snake it. I approved it because I was in an emergency situation with no leverage to shop around. Was I given a price upfront? Yes. Was it reasonable?
