After buying and building with Gehan/Brightland homes, I would NEVER recommend someone to buy one… the whole process was a nightmare. We had so many issues with our home… hundreds of issues and I’m not exaggerating. Warranty reps kept quitting because of how exasperated they were from the company, so we had to start over with new people, and 2 years later we’re still doing warranty repairs. I would give them zero stars if I could and we regret buying our first home and dealing with these people. They are liars and just give the run around on fixing things they agreed to fix. I bought my home in 2021 and they never answered again to come and fix various things in my house just came and put a bunch of blue tape all over my house to mark what needed to be done the grout touch up that they did do was by an idiot company who shows they hire just anyone to come do a half ass job. The experience with Brightland homes has been extremely positive so far. Right from the start of the loan process thru our warranty claim submissions for 60 days, everything has been smooth. Sometimes, changes are so difficult and stressful, and when you are searching for a home it adds, but when you find someone who cares, and really takes the time to do their best to serve you well, the process becones a bit easier, this was the case with Ms. Beverly Napierkowski, it took only a 5 minutes conversation for my wife to feel at easy with her, my wife voiced to me "I feel a great energy coming from her" and when we saw one of the Brightland's home at Canyon Views, we fell in love immediately and knew our search was... read more
I’ve got no option but to post this review after getting the runaround since move in last September with lighting, plants, a messed up gas stove, leaking dishwasher with black mold on the island and NO REPAIRS ON THE SCHEDULE. I own several homes from several builders and have not seen this level of corporate and constructive ineptitude in all these years. This certainly deserves a BBB report and buyer beware notice.
