The Geek Squad at Best Buy has HORRIBLE customer service! I made an appointment through Apple to get my iPad checked out. I was called the day before, by who I assumed to be a Geek Squad employee, to confirm my appointment and explain the issue with my device. I told her what was going on and she confirmed that they’d be able to take a look. I get to my appointment and there are two people working at the time. they took my rtx 5090 from aliexpress and stuck there tools in holes didnt existed bad service but i did like where they stored the tools and he was named andy and lupe
Stood in line and was never even acknowledged after being seen by multiple people. No thanks, I’ll go somewhere else.
So i go there couple months ago cause i couldnt see my screen and they say the only thing it could be is the motherboard. I save up for months and get a new motherboard just to be told today its the motherboard AND the cpu. Im more upset that they didnt do everything to find the cause first time than anything else. Next time dont just stop when u find one thing wrong in your diagnosis.
Attempting to contact the store via phone call is virtually impossible I’ve been transferred to every other Best Buy location and service in the planet This store location on the other hand has always been good with in person visits and customer service
