We have a Geek Squad annual contract for $199. Took laptop to GS today with no appointment. They were not busy so tech started working on lp. I explained issue. Was told if someone w/appt came in would have to stop and take care of appt. After 15 min of numerous attempts was told we should make appt and come back another day. Read how to fix on different lp at home & fixed myself. Guess I'll save $199 next year.

Apple Support scheduled a screen replacement appointment for me at 5:40 PM, two days in advance. The confirmation stated the repair would take approximately 20 minutes. I arrived early at 5:15 PM and checked in at the Geek Squad counter. After waiting for a while, someone finally came over and informed me that their technician was finishing up work on another phone—which was understandable since I was early. I came in because I accidentally gave myself a virus on my laptop this morning- the guy was very helpful! I didn’t catch his name but really appreciated his help!
