My mother pays for Geek Squad and went to Best Buy to buy a new phone and wanted Geek Squad to do something as simple as having her data/contacts transferred over from her old phone. They refused. What is the point of paying for a service? Useless.
This place is freaking ridiculous. I go in to drop off a computer for my mom- but I can’t just do that- even tho she is a geek squad member. So after I waited 7 minutes they tell me I had to LEAVE the store and make an appointment to come back….. I couldn’t even fill something out and drop it off- REALLY???? So I try and make an appointment on line- 20 minutes later after trying different ways to set it up, I attempt to find a number so someone can give me an appointment. Never delt with Geek Squad before till this week. I'm old and tired of not knowing why tech is so confusing sometimes to me. After dealing with Agent Abby T I felt like I'm ready to deal what is next while being the old dummy person. Thnx to Abby she was able to fix the issue and educate me of the mistakes I made. It was a great change of pace.
I had a geek squad person come to my house our son bought 4 Samsung TVs and two of them don’t work Ithe geek said call me and I did and he failed to call back I want them replaced as the two have never worked right I tried to get ahold of a Samsung representative and all I got was an AI voice with no re spines I’m now filing a complaint with better business bureau
