Walked in to have my laptop looked at due to it not charging properly. Told them I thought it was the charging port. The man working the counter opened the laptop, spent 15 seconds typing away, and then said I would be better off buying another laptop because he was sure it was the SMC chip, which would be more than $1000 to replace.
