14 month old washer. We have the total Best Buy coverage. Called the geek squad on what is the local number- but not. You are talking to someone in a foreign country. Was asked for 79.99$ fee. Was told they’d call in 24 hours — no calls. No show. No nothing. Called to cancel and get a refund. This took an act of congress. Worst service ever. Still working on this 1 year old washer -Maytag. May just junk it but something else and never get one at Best Buy again. I don’t feel the Best Buy total coverage is worth a dime.
I wish I had read the store reviews before making a reservation with Geek Squad.
If I had the option to give this place in general zero stars out of 5 I 100% would give them 0. The manager Bryan was completely rude, not friendly, and his representation of his customer service skills are 0. This manager should be fired not only for his poor customer service skills, but also for lieing and providing false information. Instead assessing our needs and figuring out a solution to a problem he chose to make an even bigger issue and problem while now making himself look like a complete fool!!! Apple had us take our iPad to Geek Squad in Huntington, WV for help with getting it to charge. Geek squad told us there was no damage to the iPad, that it was likely firmware or the port and that they needed to send it to Apple to repair. I have the paperwork stating there was no damage at drop off. But now, Apple is saying there is and we need to pay $350 due to “damage”/ the iPad being bent.
