I was assisted by Joe Dianora of the Geek Squad in Best Buy Brick today...he was FANTASTIC...not only did he resolve my issues but he was very personable, kind and painstakingly patient...He is the VERY BEST and is an absolute credit to the Geek Squad...he deserves a raise!!!!
Had to come 3 different times to get my issue resolved , I was always helped immediately and kindly although some could be friendlier and kinder there. Joe helped me out. He is wonderful! And super helpful , Always quick to help and knew exactly what he was doing. Definitely a go to guy!
Called geek squad customer service ask about reinstalling os system for a older mac they said yes a gave appointment for same day which was great. Bad went there a the one guy didnt even look at it amd saidthe hard drive was bad. Took it back home and after 30 min with software i got from a friend was able to fix. Even when i ask them just to try and download software they said no. Only reason not give 1 star when i called geek squad customer service they where some what help.
Positives: - They have a lot of appointments available. - They took me at my scheduled appointment time. Negatives: - If you have an appointment near closing time, they don't have the time or willingness to fully help you. - They encourage you to buy new devices instead of fixing the ones that you currently have. I made an appointment using the Apple Support app because it said that they're a verified Apple retailer.
