The assistance offered to me here was amazing. I never thought that I can find such a great store that offers the service a customer deserves.
This is a great store, the sales representatives are very knowledgeable however, when it comes to honoring our military veterans they rate 0 and have lost me. No military discount offered buy Best Buy. However, there is a student discount.
I love Best Buy for a lot of things, but a knowledgeable staff is not one of them. Dealt with a kid in electronics that guaranteed me I was buying the right thing...completely wrong! Got home and realized it was the completely wrong thing. People just don't care about being knowledgeable or providing good customer service these days. Just double check before buying anything.
This is the first Best Buy in Alaska. I remember when it opened back 10+ years ago. My brother was working here back then. They're still going strong. Employees are friendly and welcoming. Theres always someone around the corner to help answer any questions you may have.

Will NEVER shop at Best Buy again, even if they give me the item for free. They let their friends cut in line, including one Sheriff. A line that I waited in for over 6-1/2 hours on Thanksgiving to get a Toshiba TV for $150. The store personnel allowed their friends to get the tickets to get the TV, even though they didn't wait in line. These people showed up five minutes before the store opened. Definitely not somewhere I would go for computer parts or much of anything else. Their employees are not helpful and no I do NOT want your service plan or whatever else you are offering as an extra, please stop asking me. Maybe Best Buy should have their cashiers wearing a pin that says ask about our reward zone or service plans so that I don't have to keep hearing the same thing. When I bought my guitar in this place, I have no idea how to find the perfect brand and quality. It's a good thing that their service assistant knows a lot about music and gave me the help I need.
Musicians or not, I am recommending you this store if you need a musical instrument. Their guys are good at assisting you find what you need so you wouldn't have a problem.
