Absolutely awful experience. Took a PC in to get repaired and all they wanted to do was upsell us on an annual maintenance plan with no way to turn off the auto-renew feature or it would void all aspects of the plan. Felt VERY scammy. Never shopping at Best Buy again.
A gentleman named Travis helped me today. He was very nice, extremely patient and thorough. He also fixed my problem. After I spent three hours this morning on the phone with my manufacturer’s tech support who could not help me. He did it in literally minutes. I walked in Best Buy feeling so frustrated and upset and left the opposite. Way to go Geek Squad for hiring a great employee. Thanks to Travis for letting me take his photo! I always forget names!
My experience this morning was excellent - Matt Gerber was able to diagnose and fix the issues I had with my laptop printing and its connecting with my new wireless Epson printer - the latter complicated a bit by Best Buy not having wireless in the store. Matt worked around it. Fortunately we have the Geek Squad service plan so it covered the connection to the Epson which we had purchased elsewhere.
Nico was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, solved the problem quickly
