Kudos to Michael on the Geek Squad at Best Buy. I am not computer savvy and he assisted me with a sound problem on my computer and did a fantastic job and showed me how to combal the sound issue in the future. I went in to the store today and went to The Geek Squad letting them know I had to get a appointment it was a waste of my time to go in there they told me all I needed was help with my cell phone trying to download pictures to a drive stick I am older adult and I don't know how to do this they told me it would cost me $180 bucks just to transform pictures off my phone onto a little drive stick are they out of their mind that's outrageous they try selling me some kind of deal package which is not what I wanted I just wanted a... read more

My husband and I bought 2 cell phones in the Va.Beach best Buy location. We are seniors and shuffled along, paying for data transfer which we did not get.  We were very frustrated trying to complete the task that we paid for. After a couple of hours we decided to go to the Greenbriar Best Buy where we were treated with such kindness from the young lady that welcomed us t the door to the gentleman by the name of Kalvin who took time and and took exceptional care and helped us transfer the data that was needed..Thank You Kalvi... read more

The following was my experience at Best Buy purchase on 4/5/2025: 1. The store was supposed to open at 10 am. I reached the car park at 9.45 am and waited but the gates were opened at 10.05 am 2. The staff including the store manager lacked courtesy. This word did not exist in their dictionary. 3. I am a handicapped 73 years old man. Overcharged for services not delivered. Needed an OS reinstall to fix a wifi issue, the stated charge was $99.99. I told them exactly what the problem was and what need to be done. Charged me a diagnostic fee, virus removal and corrupt OS repair totaling $249.99, none of which was done. The only thing done was an OS reinstallation (which I could have done myself but I was out of town and my wife needed the computer).
