Last night I was told my home repair visit would be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today so I tried to be ready for door knock at 7 but of course hoped I would get a call before. Then at 7:30 got a text that more info on when my visit would happen could be found by clicking link that led me to a site requiring me to either sign up for an account or remember a pw I hadn’t used for 6 years!! I was a walk in customer today at the Medford Geek Squad location inside of Best Buy. I am not a regular customer and I don't have an account. I explained my complicated situation to the man at the counter named Ryan. He was patient, listened, paraphrased and went deep into my computer and iPhone to get to the bottom of my issue which had to do with Google Play and being charged international fees from a country I used to live in. Disappointed
Purchased my hp laptop $1169 and the Total Membership for $179 in April 2025. Everything has been working great until the last windows update. Laptop boots up but the screen is black. Scheduled an appointment with the Geek Squad and went there to have them service it. Dropped off 11/20/2025. Upon pick up 12/6/2025 the tech said everything was fixed, there were no viruses and i was good to go. Got it home and realized they never gave me back my power cord.
