Had an appointment, did get their early just incase, they where busy and didn’t mind that. Even when it ran into the appointment. But then the guy with black hair was free, looked at me and didn’t say a word to me, a few minutes later the phone rings and instead spent 10 mins taking a phone call regardless of the fact there where people waiting with seduced appointments. I went to Geek Squad in manhattan December 2025 to replace my daughter's Nintendo switch controllers that weren't working. The clerk said although it says a different address they will be delivered to the address I provided. Months go by and I never received the controllers. I don't live in manhattan area so I called the store in hopes to try again. I was sent to a customer line and they said the package was sent out but don't have tracking information on it.... stay on the phone for over 30 mins only for them to say someone... read more
Unfamiliar with Apple products. Can only follow prompts. Save yourself a trip.
Customer service was great and although Sony has some weird regional warranties (I bought my console in Europe) they did their best to help me find a solution.
Go elsewhere -- oh wait, you don't have many other options! The Geek Squad used to provide good service in 2020, but the clowns who work there are buying for #1 incompetent store. Ex: appointment on Sunday, told I needed a new battery. No advice on what battery given. Did research, order battery, go to store, installed (yay) BUT apparently work not checked by Geek Squad.
