Absolute horrible experience working with Layne. If you want your heirloom dress ruined, then her store is the place to go. Wife had to pry the “dress” away from her to bring it to a new seamstress with less than a week until our wedding. Had to bring her to court to get our money back (we won) because that lady has absolutely zero sense of accountability! Hopefully this store remains closed!
My wedding was in 2023 and my search for my dress went perfectly. I wanted a smaller self owned shop with attention to detail and service for my special day . I had lost some weight ;) and the owner made many alterations in order for the dress to fit . It was not only beautiful for my August wedding but comfortable! As an older , 2time bride it was perfect.

I have known Layne for several years and knew I wanted her to do my alterations for my wedding dress when the time came. She did such a phenonomal job at making me look snatched and elegant, and confident. She knows how to work with different body types and I learned so much from her! She was very flexible with my busy schedule and I am grateful for that.Highly recommend! I felt at piece knowing I would look the best on my wedding day! Thanks Layne <33
From the moment I moved back to Syracuse in 2015 and passed Gee June in Skaneateles, I knew that one day this would be where I’d get my wedding dress.
