Literally the worst dress designer in all of central New York. Was a nightmare of a situation. My wife had to go get a different dress the week of the wedding cause Gee June did not finish the dress in time. The dress was ordered 11 months prior to the date of the wedding and still was not able to get a finished dress. I implore you to never buy a dress from here.
Layne made the experience of choosing a dress so easy, she welcomed in my friends and family. She is an incredibly talented woman and I am in LOVE with my dress!!!!
DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!! My sister in law ordered a custom made dress, and it was not "finished" until 3 days before her wedding day. She wanted black lace added to the bottom of the train and to the sleeves. The sleeves were very poorly dyed to where some were gray, others bled onto the original white fabric, and was sloppily stitched on. Alterations were made as a "surprise" without her consent. Absolute horrible experience working with Layne. If you want your heirloom dress ruined, then her store is the place to go. Wife had to pry the “dress” away from her to bring it to a new seamstress with less than a week until our wedding. Had to bring her to court to get our money back (we won) because that lady has absolutely zero sense of accountability! Hopefully this store remains closed!
My wedding was in 2023 and my search for my dress went perfectly. I wanted a smaller self owned shop with attention to detail and service for my special day . I had lost some weight ;) and the owner made many alterations in order for the dress to fit . It was not only beautiful for my August wedding but comfortable! As an older , 2time bride it was perfect.
