My PCP requested a neurological exam and assessment, sent to Dr G. He loked at my appearance (I was having a good day with less symptoms so I was able to wear makeup that day)and instantly judged that I was ok. I brought documentation of tests indicating a neurological disorder and he barely glanced at it. He pushed/ pulled on my arms and that was the only physical exam he did, he did absolutely nothing to evaluate my legs/balance/strength. What a blessing to find Dr. Gedia at Baycare Medical Group Neurology last week. I have been a patient of Dr. Gedia's for several years and have never known a more compassionate doctor. This doctor truly cares about his patients well being and I have not only felt this with the way he treated me in the past, but I was able to see his devotion to other patients as well. Truly devoted to his profession and highly recommended.

Wasted a year that I could be having treatment by telling me nothing is wrong and do minimal amount of tests

I had come to this doctor after being told that I had MS by a neurological ophthalmologist. He read my MRI slides and stated that I only had a few white spots and that I absolutely did not have MS. I made an appointment with an MS specialist a few months down the line who showed me ALL of the white spots (more than 10) that were on my brain. She also showed me where MS would cause white spots (clear as day) versus where spots occur from migraines. Glad that I trusted my gut and got my new doc!
