Beware of the difference between a "Service" and "Maintenance". I emailed them to come in and check on my back up generator as a switch on it got stuck after a brownout. They arrived and performed a "Service" diagnostic. After leaving they then mentioned that I would require a "Maintenance" To come back to top off the oil and run other checks. Originally I praised Geco when I got the generator. Ill leave my original feedback at the end. March of 2025 we had an awful ice storm. Once the power was restored my generator wouldn’t turn off. When I shut it down the power wouldn't come on the house. Technician said it could be the relay switch. May 2025 the generator didn’t come on for its weekly run so I called Geco and had a service call. That call was $337.59 and the breakdown was Travel Time $155. The Labour Service $143.75.
