RecommendedStopped in to get some brake work done, met Chris and asked about turnaround time. He explained that he was by himself, and slammed. I was heading out of town that afternoon, so I was going to purchase parts (front brake caliper and lever, and rear rotor) and attempt my own fix. Less than 2 hours later, Chris had me back rolling!! The attitude and helpfulness of this young man was as good as I've experienced in over 23 years of riding and dealing with bike shops!
Super friendly folks !....and nice bike shop. My son and I dropped in from out of town to ask about local rides and trails and Afra was super helpful and friendly. They have print outs on hand of all the local trails with directions ;). If you are in town to ride I definitely recommend stoppin into this shop for a visit 👍✌️

Took my two bikes to have brakes adjusted and maintaince check up...Staff were very polite and helpful, cost was alot cheaper than I expected, I will continue my business here and highly recommend to anyone...This is the way a bike shop should be ran...Thank you to all the staff...
This is a great bike shop. I was visiting Taos about a week ago riding Angle Fire with my family. After our first day of riding I needed to do some work to my sons bike but found myself lacking the proper tools to do the job. I drove into town and arrived at Gearing Up only 30 minutes before they were closing. Not only did they welcome me in but also let me use the tools and a stand to get the job done and be ready for the trails the next day. These guys rock...Thank you

These guys (and gals) are super knowledgeable and helpful, not to mention nice! They helped us out of a huge jam with our bike rack when we were traveling!!
My girlfriend and I had to make a stop at Gearing Up after my front spokes got bent after my front rack broke, on our bike tour. These guys took us in right away and fixed up my wheel and front rack within 45 minutes! Thanks for helping us out!
