Car wouldn’t start because of rodent damage to my wiring. They went to work on the damage within a day and immediately sent an invoice that was accurate and honest. Had to get OEM parts but within a business day had the car restored. Amazing even gave me the damaged part to show what was needed to be fixed. Saved me hundreds in car rental cost by their speed!
These guys go above and beyond on every job we have brought to them. Brakes, alternator, water pump and even jobs as small as an antenna . They have come to us road side , to our home and even arranged a wrecker on one occasion. They will have never tried to upsale us on anything and do everything they can to keep cost at a minimum. They repaired my husband's car. Quick service at an affordable price. I'm from a DIY family who shopped at rockauto and did their own repairs, so I know how much these parts cost -- and I can say this place is honest on the prices of parts and just about as affordable as you can possibly be for the labor done. We are very grateful to have found this place and we will be coming back here from now on.
I honestly would not approve these mechanics to put oil on my bike chain. My wife gave them her truck for over 2 weeks, and even agreed to over 4k for a new engine, but they could not make it a priority over oil changes and other small labor. Eventually we ended up just picking up the truck and taking it elsewhere. The fact that this "Shade Tree mechanic" have a 5 rating is insane. Our usual mechanic couldn’t fit us in, so we tried Gearheads Auto Shop based on a recommendation. Despite being nervous about going somewhere new, they were fantastic—quick, communicative, and accommodating of my husband’s night shift schedule. They’ll now be our go-to shop for all our vehicle needs. Highly recommend!
