They installed a DEFECTIVE transmission. No refund I payed $4.5K for a relatively new transmission with 10,000 miles on it. Four months later, while enroute to Seattle for a new job, I broke down, and discovered that Gearbox had put a defective transmission in my car. It was giving all kinds of diagnostic error codes, smoking, and leaking fluid everywhere. They refused to reimburse me or the shop. Took my car here. It still ran really rough and was still slipping gears after they worked on it. Really surprised considering that I see some positive reviews. Not the most friendly in the office but they gave a reasonable price.
Was referred to Gearbox Transmission for clutch work. Very satisfied with scheduling and work. Ready for another 100 000 miles. Very cost affective!
